About the Honda VT600C Shadow VLX
A VT600C service order needs a year check for each component, especially the carburetor and fork seals.
Keep the standard VLX model code with your order
VT600C identifies the standard Shadow VLX in this collection. For a Deluxe, use VT600CD parts. A changed carburetor or front end needs the identity of the installed assembly as well as the frame model.
Oil seals and dust seals have different ranges
The oil-seal pair lists 1988–2007, while the separate dust seals list 1992–1996. On a matching 1992–1996 fork, one oil-seal set supplies two oil seals; two individually sold dust seals supply one for each leg. The oil-seal title uses 39 × 51 × 8/10 mm, while its main specification gives 39 × 51 × 8 mm, so compare the complete old-seal profile before ordering.

Identify your motorcycle before orderingVT600C identification checklist
Use these checks when a registration year or a model badge does not identify the fitted parts.
- VT600C designation and model year from the identification label.
- Market or emissions identification where present.
- Carburetor markings and photographs of the fitted assembly.
- Fork and brake details if the front end or wheels have been replaced.
