Honda VTX1800 parts for repair and restoration
Honda's VTX1800 cruiser family includes several variant codes. Its liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine and hydraulic brake system call for different service parts than vintage carbureted Hondas; fork specifications still depend on the variant and year.
Change the engine oil filter
The individual oil filter lists 2002–2008 VTX1800 applications. Check the correct service procedure and sealing surfaces.
Repair the rear master cylinder
The rear master-cylinder rebuild kit covers 2002–2008 VTX1800. Inspect the cylinder bore and fitted brake assembly before rebuilding it.
Renew early fork seals
The two-seal fork set measures 45 × 57 × 11 mm and covers 2002–2004 VTX1800. Later fork applications need their own fit check.
Choosing parts for your VTX1800
Read the variant and year. The broad VTX1800 oil-filter and rear-brake listings span 2002–2008, but the fork seals stop after 2004. A newer cruiser cannot inherit the earlier fork application.
Keep brake positions straight. The repair kit here is for the rear master cylinder. For a front lever problem, identify the front master-cylinder assembly and select a front-specific repair part.

Building a custom VTX1800?
A VTX1800 handlebar change can affect throttle and brake-line reach. Universal bars and grips and mirrors need a measured fit through full steering travel.
