About the Honda ZB50
The ZB50 has its own identity within Honda’s Monkey-related mini bikes.
Honda describes the ZB50 as an export model based on the Monkey RT, with a three-speed transmission and automatic centrifugal clutch. That background makes the exact ZB50 designation important: a Monkey R, Monkey RT or Z50 listing should not be treated as a direct match without an explicit application.
Small sealing and clutch components can make up much of a ZB50 repair order. List the engine joints you plan to open, locate an exhaust leak before choosing its gasket, and distinguish a fork-cap leak from a fork oil-seal leak. For clutch work, use the assembly diagram to identify the ball retainer and inspect the other components before ordering.
Compare the actual applicationZB50 part and year differences
All four examples list ZB50 1988. Their shared model year does not make them complete repair kits. Compare the gasket set contents, exhaust-gasket quantity, fork-cap O-ring dimensions and clutch-retainer shape with your motorcycle.

- Confirm ZB50 and the year from the frame identification and model documentation, including the market version.
- Check the fitted engine and clutch assembly for changes before relying on a standard ZB50 application.
