About the Kawasaki KX100
Fork, clutch and control repairs for the KX100 motocross bike.
A used KX100 may carry replacement forks, levers or brake components from years of motocross use. Identify the assembly you are repairing as well as the frame model. A lever must match its pivot and control body; a fork seal must match the fork actually installed.
Clutch service needs the same attention to component type. The KX100B friction plate below covers 1995–1997. The steel plate has separate KX100C 1998–2000 and KX100D 2001–2005 applications. Inspect the existing stack before deciding which plates need replacement.
Fork-seal coverage and clutch coverage are different
The linked 36 × 48 × 8/9.5 mm fork-seal set lists KX100 1995–2016. That longer range applies to the seals. Use the narrower model/year entry alongside each clutch plate and lever.

KX100B clutch plate · 1995–1997
The linked friction plate covers these B-model applications. Compare its profile and thickness with the removed component.
KX100C/D steel plate
The separate steel plate lists C 1998–2000 and D 2001–2005. Select this by plate type and stack position.
Brake lever · B 1997 / C 1998–2000
The linked brake lever has narrower coverage than the fork-seal set. Check the pivot and master-cylinder interface.
Kawasaki KX100 identification checklist
- Record the full model code and year before browsing parts.
- Identify the fitted fork and caliper if either has been replaced.
- For clutch work, compare the plate type, profile, thickness and stack position with the removed component.
