About the Kawasaki VN800C
Keep the early Drifter C application separate from A, B and E entries.
VN800C is a specific Drifter application within the wider Vulcan 800 range. A product that also appears in the parent collection still needs its C and year entry checked. The distinction is especially useful for rear-brake work, where the selected C product services a hydraulic master cylinder.
Three seals, three different assemblies
Fork oil seals retain oil around the sliding tubes. A water-pump mechanical seal serves the coolant pump’s shaft sealing arrangement. A rear master-cylinder kit services the hydraulic brake control. Similar words such as seal or repair kit do not make these parts interchangeable or establish coverage for an entire assembly.
