About the Kawasaki ZN750A
Trace the fuel leak to its source before choosing a ZN750A gasket, repair kit or tank cap.
Fuel around a ZN750A carburetor can come from the bowl joint or from fuel-level control inside the carburetor. Fuel at the tank can involve the tap or filler cap. Locating the first wet area helps separate these repairs and avoids ordering a gasket for a different joint.
Separate the bowl seal from fuel-level control
A float-bowl gasket seals the joint around the bowl. It does not replace the float needle or correct an incorrect fuel level. Likewise, a petcock repair kit services the existing tap; confirm its supplied pieces and the condition of the tap body before ordering.

1984–1985 examples

Three seals, three checks
Compare the bowl gasket outline at the carburetor, the repair-kit components at the petcock, and the cap’s engagement and sealing face at the filler neck. Their functions and mounting points are different.
