ZR1000 Z1000 maintenance: match the assembly and its year range
Compare the model, the repair location and the part’s own application before ordering.
The ZR1000 selection supports several different service jobs. Rear pads, a rear reservoir diaphragm and an air filter have useful early-model applications. They should not be combined into a blanket range for all Z1000-branded motorcycles; retain the ZR1000 model designation and exact year.
Fork oil seals and dust seals also do different work. The oil-seal listing gives 41 × 54 × 11 and names 2003–2008; the dust-seal entry names 2003. A year appearing on the oil-seal listing is not evidence that the dust seal fits the same bike. Identify a replacement fork independently.

Identify your motorcycle before orderingZR1000 identification & fitment checks
- Confirm ZR1000 and the exact model year; do not use the Z1000 badge alone to select parts across generations.
- Identify the rear caliper or rear reservoir before selecting pads or a diaphragm. These are separate components.
- For fork work, compare the oil seal and dust seal independently. Record any fork replacement and the full markings on the removed seals.
