About the Kawasaki ZR1100 range
Start with the A or C model code before choosing parts for your Kawasaki 1100.
The ZR1100 name in the parts catalogue spans the Zephyr and ZRX1100. Kawasaki identifies the 1992 Zephyr as ZR1100-A1 and the 1999 ZRX1100 as ZR1100-C3. Keeping that letter in your search matters: the carburetor kits, engine gaskets and chassis parts on this page have separate applications.
An early Zephyr engine repair starts with the ZR1100A application. A ZRX1100 carburetor or rear-brake repair starts with ZR1100C. A product that lists both motorcycles establishes compatibility for that component only; it does not make the two models interchangeable.
Compare the job as well as the model
The Zephyr gasket set below lists 1992–1995, while the featured ZRX carburetor kit lists 1999–2000. Fork dust-seal coverage differs again. Choose each item for the fitted assembly rather than carrying one product’s years across your whole order.

ZR1100A Zephyr
Early Zephyr repair examples
Carburetor and engine-gasket listings here cover ZR1100A 1992–1995. The featured fork oil seals and dust seals list 1992–1994.
Parts checkpoint: Use the ZR1100A page for an A-model repair.
ZR1100C ZRX1100
Later ZRX service examples
The featured ZR1100C carburetor kit and fork oil seals list 1999–2000. Rear pads list 1997–2000; the dust seals list 1997–1999.
Parts checkpoint: A broader rear-pad range does not extend carburetor-kit fitment.
Model and market
One prefix, different machines
The A and C designations distinguish the Zephyr and ZRX applications in this collection. Imported motorcycles and replacement assemblies need their own model and component checks.
Parts checkpoint: Keep the model letter on your parts list.
