About the Suzuki DS250
A focused 1980 DS250 guide for fork sealing and the two drum-brake positions.
Suzuki’s 1980 DS250 parts reference identifies the front and rear chassis assemblies separately. This replacement selection follows those repair locations: fork oil seals, front shoes and rear shoes. On an older dirt bike, swapped forks or wheels can change what fits even when the frame still carries its original DS250 identity.
Inspect each drum brake before choosing shoes
Check the front and rear brake assemblies independently, including shoe profile, lining condition, drum surface and return hardware. Choose the product for the wheel being serviced and confirm its contents. For fork service, record the full seal markings and inspect the tubes and seal seats; fitting new seals to damaged working surfaces can leave the cause of a leak unresolved.

Match the rear drum and shoe arrangement separately. Verify the contents and required service pieces on the product page.
Fork seals
Identify the installed fork
The selected seal product lists DS250 1980. Compare all dimensions and the seal profile with the old part.
