About the Suzuki VS1400
Choose the Intruder variant before choosing the repair parts.
Suzuki introduced the VS1400 as a large V-twin cruiser in 1987. Its air/oil-cooled engine and shaft final drive distinguish it from a chain-drive road bike, but the Intruder name alone still does not identify a replacement part. PartsNMore groups several VS1400 designations here so you can choose the relevant model before ordering.
Carburetor position and clutch system matter
The front-carburetor kit for an early GL differs from the kits listed for later GL and GLP applications. Hydraulic clutch repairs also involve a different component from the clutch plates inside the engine. Use the variant pages for those narrower choices; a common VS1400 badge does not make every part below interchangeable.
Model and component referenceVS1400 application differences
VS1400GL
Early front-carburetor kit lists 1987–1992; later front and rear kits list 1993–1994.
VS1400GLP
The featured front and rear kits list 1996–1998. Clutch components have their own year ranges.
Other VS1400 markings
Use the exact application on the product page. Do not substitute a GL or GLP entry solely because displacement matches.

Check before orderingIdentify your VS1400 and fitted parts
- Read the full model designation from the motorcycle and its market documents.
- For fuel-system work, identify which carburetor needs repair before removing parts.
- For a clutch complaint, establish whether the work concerns hydraulic operation, the lever or the clutch pack.
