About the Yamaha DT100
Fuel taps, carburetor float valves and rear brake shoes for the DT100 trail bike.
The DT100 is a small Yamaha trail motorcycle with a carburetor and an Autolube oil-injection system in its original configuration. Yamaha’s period manual treats carburetor, Autolube and transmission service separately. Keeping those systems distinct helps organize a return to use after storage, especially if the tank or intake has been changed.
A leaking tank tap is not a leaking float valve
The tank petcock controls supply to the fuel line; the carburetor float valve controls the bowl’s fuel level. The linked petcocks list DT100 1974–1975 and 1981–1983 separately. Neither example establishes coverage for the intervening years.

1974–1975 fuel tap
The earlier linked assembly has its own application. Compare the tank connection, outlet direction and selector clearance.
1981–1983 fuel tap
The later linked assembly is a separate option. Do not fill the 1976–1980 gap by assuming either tap fits.
1983 rear brake example
The featured rear shoe listing specifies DT100 1983. Confirm the fitted drum rather than extending it to earlier wheels.
