About the Yamaha FZR600R
The R model name needs a year, market and component check before a repair order.
PartsNMore’s selected FZR600R applications cover different periods: the clutch plate and spring kit list 1990–2000, while the rear master-cylinder kit and dust seals list 1990–1999. The featured fork oil-seal set starts later, at 1994. These product ranges should not be treated as one generation with identical forks or brakes.
Measure the seal profile and identify the rear cylinder
The oil-seal title specifies 41 × 53 × 8/10.5 mm. Compare the complete height and lip profile with the removed seal, as well as both diameters. For a rear-brake rebuild, compare reference 1WG-W0042-50 with the installed cylinder and its internal parts. A model badge alone cannot establish the correct piston and seal arrangement.
