About the Yamaha XJ750R Seca

Seca fuel, brake and engine repairs, with the 1983 gasket choice made explicit.

The XJ750R Seca repair list changes with the component and year. The carburetor kit, brake-pad product, rear shoes and individual clutch plate include 1981–1983. The engine gasket set and fork dust boots stop at 1982, while the separate valve-cover gasket continues through 1984.

For a 1983 Seca, choose the gasket for the joint

The valve-cover gasket provides an explicit 1983 XJ750R application for the top-cover joint. The engine gasket set does not establish that year for a wider engine opening. For brake work, choose pads for the fitted caliper or shoes for the rear drum. Fork dust boots protect against dirt and are separate from oil seals.
