About the Yamaha YZF750R
Separate clutch hydraulics, clutch plates and cooling-system seals.
The YZF750R selection covers several service jobs with different year ranges. Carburetor kits list 1993–1996, while the featured slave-cylinder kit and water-pump mechanical seal list 1994–1997. Clutch-plate selection needs an additional check: its entries are 1994 and 1996–1998, so 1995 remains unlisted.
Identify the hydraulic clutch component
Hydraulic clutch service starts by identifying the master cylinder, hose or slave cylinder involved. A slave-cylinder kit repairs the release-side hydraulic unit; it does not renew worn clutch plates. For the water pump, identify the mechanical seal at the pump shaft and check adjacent sealing components against the repair diagram.

Additional application checks
Check before orderingIdentify your YZF750R and fitted parts
- Retain the R suffix and confirm the model year.
- Distinguish the clutch master cylinder at the handlebar from the slave cylinder at the release mechanism.
- Use the correct pump diagram to identify the mechanical seal and check other required parts separately.
