About the Honda CB500
Choose the CB500 generation first, then the repair and exact product application. The Four, classic twin, later carbureted twins and modern fuel-injected twins do not share parts merely because they carry the CB500 name.
Honda introduced the Dream CB500 Four in 1971 with a four-stroke OHC inline-four. The CB500T represented a separate classic twin, while the CB500F and CB500X introduced for 2013 used a newly developed liquid-cooled DOHC inline-twin. Parts do not interchange merely because all of these motorcycles carry the CB500 name.
Use this page as the CB500 model hub
The classic CB500K repair examples list 1971–1973, and the CB500T examples list 1975–1976. Later CB500K, CB500S and CB500R products carry their own 1990s or 2000s application ranges. The linked CB500F and CB500X coolant sensor begins with 2013 applications. Keep the complete suffix and exact product year range with every repair.

Classic Four
CB500K 1971–1973 repairs

Read every K, S and R year
The bowl gasket lists CB500K/CB500S 1996–2002. The neutral switch has narrower K, S and R ranges and an explicit gap in CB500R coverage.
Modern liquid-cooled twins
CB500F and CB500X
The linked coolant-temperature sensor lists CB500F 2013–2019 and CB500X 2013–2021. A modern cooling-system product is not established for the classic motorcycles.
