About the Kawasaki VN750 Vulcan
A Vulcan 750 family guide for fuel, charging and wear-part decisions.
The Vulcan 750 uses several assemblies that need separate checks during recommissioning: carburetors, charging equipment, clutch and brakes. Kawasaki’s 2006 parts reference identifies the VN750A6F and separates those systems. PartsNMore applications use both VN750 and VN750A labels, so retain the complete model and year when comparing an individual product.
Build a charging-system order from the diagnosis
Check battery condition, cable connections and the charging system against the correct service information before buying a stator. The stator generates output; the regulator/rectifier converts and controls it. Match the diagnosed component, connectors and mounting, then use its own model/year entry. The featured stator lists VN750A 1986–2000, independently of the carburetor kit’s VN750 1986–2006 range.

Use the model, year and fitted component together when comparing these applications.
Fuel system
VN750 carb kit: 1986–2006
The selected kit uses the VN750 application label. Compare the fitted carburetor and kit contents; do not infer how many kits a full repair needs.
Charging
VN750A stator: 1986–2000
Identify the stator and its connections separately from the regulator/rectifier. Their application ranges are not automatically identical.
Clutch and rear brake
Selected VN750A entries: 1986–2005
A clutch plate and rear drum shoes are different wear parts. Match the engine clutch or rear wheel actually fitted.
Identify your motorcycle before orderingVN750 Vulcan identification checklist
- Frame and model
- Record the complete stamped model and frame/VIN characters.
- Engine and fitted assembly
- Record engine markings separately, then compare the component being repaired.
- Assembly comparison
- Compare the fitted assemblies with the correct model-year parts diagram or service manual, especially when an engine, carburetor, wheel or front end has been replaced.
