About the Suzuki GS1150
Brake, carburetor and related E-model service parts for Suzuki’s large GS four.
The GS1150 developed Suzuki’s large four-cylinder platform with a 1,135 cc, four-valve-per-cylinder engine and TSCC combustion chambers. The E and ES versions offered different road-bike configurations. For a restoration, retain the full model identity while checking the brakes, carburetors and other assemblies fitted to the motorcycle.
Master cylinder, caliper or carburetor float bowl?
A front master-cylinder kit repairs the handlebar-mounted hydraulic assembly; a caliper kit services a different part of the brake system. Float-bowl gaskets belong to the carburetors. The repair links below keep those jobs separate, with the E-model collection providing a route to its clutch and fork applications.

Identify the brakes before choosing a kit
Record the front master-cylinder and caliper markings. A master-cylinder kit and a caliper kit service different assemblies. Do not infer the caliper position from a listing that does not specify it.
Compare the carburetor and engine covers
Photograph the carburetor markings and removed bowl gasket outline. For engine-cover work, compare the cover shape and gasket construction with confirmed service information before choosing a replacement.
