About the Suzuki GS750S
Carburetor, engine, clutch and brake repair guidance for the GS750S, with model and year checks for every linked part.
Suzuki’s Japanese-market archive records a 747 cc, 67 × 53 mm engine for both the 1982 and 1984 GSX750S. The earlier example has a 19-inch front wheel and anti-dive fork; the 1984 redesign has a retractable headlight and a 16-inch front wheel. These are useful original-equipment clues, not a complete cross-reference for imported GS750S models.
Two Katana generations can share an engine size
A float needle and its seat control incoming fuel; a bowl gasket seals the bowl joint. Compare the installed carburetor and the actual package for either repair. The linked needle product pages does not consistently establish whether a seat is supplied. The bowl-gasket product pages has conflicting brand wording, so use its GS750S fitment and a physical gasket comparison rather than the title’s brand reference.

Check the model code and year
Confirm the complete model code and year from the motorcycle’s identification label or registration. Use GS750S, not a shortened family name, when a product separates related models.
Match the part already fitted
Compare the original part with the product photos and specifications. Check markings, dimensions, mounting points, left/right or front/rear position, and the quantity supplied.
