About the Suzuki GSX1100S
Front brake pads and caliper repair parts for the classic Katana’s distinct applications.
Suzuki unveiled the original Katana design in 1980 and began GSX1100S production in 1981. Later versions included a 1994 Japanese-market release with a revised clutch. The familiar bodywork spans a longer history than any one brake-parts application.
Choose pads and caliper seals for different jobs
Brake pads provide the friction surface against the disc; a caliper rebuild kit supplies the listed internal service parts for the caliper. Identify the work needed and the assembly fitted before ordering. The early pad range, single-year caliper kit and later pad option below are separate applications.

The featured seal kit has this specific S-model application. The broader early pad range does not extend the seal kit’s coverage.

Later GSX1100S front pads
Use the separate later pad application and compare the fitted caliper, particularly on a converted motorcycle.
