About the Suzuki TS125
Fork, clutch and exhaust parts with clear TS125 and TS125R year splits.
For a TS125 repair, identify the component before choosing by year. The selected fork seals, clutch plates and exhaust gaskets have different applications, and the later TS125R clutch plate is separate from the earlier TS125 plate.
Fork-seal sizes and TS125R clutch differences
The fork-seal examples below include dimensions as well as years: 30 × 40.5 × 10.5 mm for the selected 1971–1974 application and 30 × 42 × 10.5 mm for 1978. The 1980–1981 entries disagree and need an application check before either size is ordered. The note alongside this guide explains that conflict.
Model and year differencesSuzuki TS125 application checkpoints
Earlier fork applications
1971–1974 versus 1978
The selected early seal is 30 × 40.5 × 10.5; the 1978 seal is 30 × 42 × 10.5. Their outside diameters differ.
1980–1981 forks
Application check required
Two incompatible sizes appear in current product data. The shared year label is not enough to choose between them.
Clutch plates
TS125 and later TS125R
The selected TS125 plate lists 1974–1981; a separate plate lists TS125R 1989–1997. They are not treated as interchangeable.
Before orderingModel, frame and component identification
- Use the model code together with the year. Do not choose a later TS125R part for an early TS125 from the letter alone.
- Read the removed fork seal’s markings and record inside diameter, outside diameter, height and fork identification.
- For exhaust gaskets, confirm the joint and the required quantity before choosing individual pieces or packs.
Send the PartsNMore team your model and year, plus clear photos of the component and its markings. Use factory documentation for serial-number interpretation.
