About the Yamaha IT125
Carburetor, clutch and drum-brake parts for an IT125 enduro restoration.
The IT125 belongs to Yamaha’s enduro range, with equipment that can differ by market. Yamaha issued a separate IT125G manual supplement for Oceania covering ignition and lighting controls as well as brake service. The original market and complete model code therefore help identify an older machine alongside its year.
Fuel-level control, clutch wear and rear brakes
A float needle and seat regulate fuel entering the carburetor bowl. Clutch plates address a different assembly, while rear shoes must match the fitted brake drum. Inspect these areas separately when returning an IT125 to use after storage, and confirm the quantity of each item needed for the repair.

Carburetor fuel level
The float valve controls fuel entering the bowl. A bowl gasket seals the joint; it does not repair a worn needle or seat.
Clutch and rear brake
A clutch plate belongs inside the engine’s clutch assembly. Rear brake shoes work against the wheel’s drum. Check each assembly and its own package quantity.
Market-specific controls
Yamaha’s IT125G Oceania supplement describes the ignition switch, lighting controls and brake-light switch. Use the documentation for the original market when identifying control or electrical equipment.
