About the Yamaha IT200
Restore an IT200 with attention to the fork, clutch and the brake assembly at each wheel.
Yamaha records the IT200 in its 1984 model history as part of the IT enduro line. When recommissioning an older off-road bike, inspect the front and rear brake assemblies as well as the suspension. Replacement wheels and forks can change the service parts required even when the frame identification is clear.
Choosing IT200 service parts
The IT200 brake selection distinguishes rear drum shoes from front disc pads. Rear shoes list 1984–1986, and the front pad application is 1986. Keep wheel position with the brake part’s reference. The broader fork-seal and clutch-plate coverage is useful for those jobs but cannot resolve an unlisted brake year.

Front pads and rear shoes
The 1986 front pad application and 1984–1986 rear shoe application are separate. Match disc pads to the caliper and drum shoes to the appropriate drum brake.
Fork and clutch coverage
The featured fork seal and clutch plate listings include 1984–1987. That is coverage for those individual parts, not a claim that every IT200 component remained unchanged.
Identify your motorcycle before orderingIT200 identification checklist
- Record the IT200 identification and model year before using an IT-family parts list.
- Identify the front and rear brake assemblies, noting any wheel or brake conversions.
- Compare the fitted fork’s seal markings and the clutch plate reference with the removed components.
