About the Yamaha TX750
Fork sealing, front-caliper rebuilding and rear brake shoes for the TX750 twin.
The TX750 is Yamaha’s distinctive 750 cc inline twin with a balancer and dry-sump lubrication. Yamaha records its introduction in 1972; the chassis-service parts linked here list 1973–1974. Keep that historical date separate from each replacement part’s application.
Front and rear brakes need different service parts
Plan front and rear brake work separately. The caliper kit is a hydraulic disc-brake repair item; rear shoes work inside the rear drum. For fork leaks, compare the seal dimensions and inspect the tube surfaces so the parts order addresses the actual condition of the assembly.
Know your model before choosing partsYamaha TX750 repair checkpoints
Use the complete model, year and fitted assembly. Each product has its own application and package contents.
1973–1974 fork seals
The featured seal entry covers these years. Compare the fitted fork and old seal dimensions.
Caliper rebuild kit
The selected kit also lists 1973–1974, but its contents must match the caliper fitted to the motorcycle.
Rear brake shoes
The rear-shoe entry is a separate brake application. A front-caliper repair kit does not supply parts for the rear drum.
