About the Yamaha WR250F
Separate carburetor-joint service from fork and oil-filter maintenance.
The WR250F products highlighted here span several early applications. The carburetor mid-body kit lists 2001–2009, while fork oil seals divide into 2001–2004 and 2005–2011 groups. The featured oil filter covers 2001–2002 only, making a year-specific check essential when combining service parts.
Inspect fork bushings along with the oil seals
Fork oil seals retain oil around the sliding tubes. DU bushings support the sliding fork components and require their own diameter, width and bore checks. The linked bushing set covers 2001–2003, while the early oil seals cover 2001–2004; inspect the fitted fork and choose each service part independently.
