About the Yamaha XT600
The XT600 name spans different service applications; keep the year, suffix and assembly together.
Yamaha’s XT600 history includes a road-and-trail single-cylinder range alongside the distinct Ténéré direction. Yamaha’s 1994 reference describes an air-cooled four-stroke single, but that broad engine description does not establish gasket, intake or chassis interchange across the family.
The current gasket examples show a clear application gap: one lists XT600 1983–1987, while another lists 1995–2002. Neither confirms the intervening years. Intake-holder coverage is different again, with the selected XT600E part listing two separate year runs.

The individual applications below are intentionally separate. A year missing from a gasket or intake-holder range has not been confirmed by that listing.

| Later XT600 engine gasket set | XT600 1995–2002 |
| XT600 front brake pads | XT600 1984–1989 |

Identify the fitted equipmentConfirm XT600, E or Z before ordering
- Read the full frame model and year, including E, Z or another suffix.
- Record the engine and carburetor identification if either has been changed.
- For chassis repairs, check the fitted fork and brake assembly instead of borrowing an engine part’s year range.
