About the Yamaha XV1100
Choose the right carb kit, plan the gasket work and prepare your Virago 1100 for its next repair.
Bringing an XV1100 Virago back into regular use often means planning several separate jobs. Start with the assembly you are servicing: carburetor rebuild parts for fuel-system work, an engine gasket set for the joints you will open, or fork oil seals for suspension service. This collection gathers XV1100-family applications, including selected XV1100S parts.
Plan a complete Virago carburetor repair
For a carburetor overhaul, inspect the intake holders as well as the carburetors. A cracked holder and a worn internal carburetor component need different replacement parts. Compare the kit contents before dismantling, and keep the full model designation with the year when ordering for an XV1100S or a bike with replacement components.

1989–1990 carburetor kits
Choose the dedicated XV1100 1989–1990 kit for the matching carburetors. Compare the supplied components and sold-as quantity with the scope of your overhaul.
1991–1999 carburetor kits
The later kit lists XV1100 1991–1999 and XV1100S 1996–1998 separately. Keep the S-model range when choosing it for an XV1100S.
Fork seals: preserve the year gap
The featured oil seals list XV1100 1986–1988 and 1991–1999. The 1989–1990 models need a separately confirmed application; compare the fitted forks and original seal dimensions.
