About the Honda GL1500 Gold Wing & Valkyrie
Find your Gold Wing or Valkyrie, then build the parts list for your repair.
The GL1500 Gold Wing arrived for 1988 with a liquid-cooled, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine and shaft drive. Honda later brought the flat-six layout to the Valkyrie cruiser. This collection brings both ranges together, with separate model pages to make the next step easier.
For Gold Wing touring models, choose Aspencade, Interstate or SE. For Valkyries, choose C, CD, Tourer or Interstate. The Gold Wing Interstate is GL1500I; the Valkyrie Interstate is GL1500CF.

Identify your motorcycle before orderingGL1500 frame, engine and model checklist
Record the motorcycle’s markings and original model information before choosing parts, especially after an engine or chassis conversion.
- Record the model year, complete model designation, original market and frame/VIN marking.
- Record the engine marking independently if the engine has been replaced.
- For intake work, identify the fitted carburetor and airbox. For forks or brakes, identify the actual assembly.
- Match a part to its own application and dimensions; do not transfer the year range of one item to another.
