About the Honda TRX200SX
Brake, wheel-seal and carburetor parts with the SX suffix kept in every application.
The TRX200SX is the SX-designated member of Honda’s TRX200 ATV range. Its 1986–1988 service applications overlap several familiar Honda part types, making the complete model code more useful than a broad product title. Keep SX visible when comparing the brakes, hub seals and fitted carburetor.
Choose carburetor metering parts or the bowl-joint seal
The selected needle-jet kit has a 1986 SX application and services fuel metering. The bowl gasket lists 1986–1988 and seals the bowl joint. The wheel-seal kit and separate front/rear shoes also carry 1986–1988 SX entries; the table links each repair independently.
Model and application differencesCompare your TRX200SX repair options
| Model or repair | What to check |
|---|---|
| 1986 SX carburetor metering | The selected needle-jet kit lists TRX200SX 1986. It is not a general 1986–1988 carburetor rebuild kit. |
| 1986–1988 sealing and brakes | The featured wheel-seal kit, front shoes, rear shoes and bowl-gasket option list these SX years. Package contents and component position still need checking. |
| Plain TRX200 and TRX200D | Their application ranges differ from SX. Keep the SX suffix rather than treating all three model labels as interchangeable. |
Frame, engine and component markingsHonda TRX200SX identification
Use the complete frame/model identification and the correct market documentation. Identify a replacement engine, carburetor or front end separately from the frame.
- Read the SX suffix and year from the frame/model label.
- Confirm the carburetor identification, existing jet-needle arrangement and gasket profile.
- Check the wheel position, hub and spacer sealing surfaces before selecting wheel seals.
A shared model prefix or similar appearance does not establish the model year or parts fitment.
