About the Kawasaki VN800A
The A suffix and 2002 clutch-spring split make the selection more precise.
The VN800A designation identifies the standard Vulcan 800 application in this collection. Its repair choices overlap with some Classic parts, but the model code must stay attached to the year. The selected carburetor kit and rear shoes have a longer continuous A application than either clutch-spring kit on its own.
Plan the clutch repair around the correct spring kit
A spring kit renews clutch springs; it is different from the individually listed clutch plates. For the VN800A, the earlier kit ends at 2001 and the later kit starts at 2002. Inspect the clutch and use the correct service information before deciding which surrounding parts also need replacement.
