About the Suzuki TS250
The fork-seal year split is the first useful TS250 check.
A TS250 restoration may involve components from more than one year. The current seal listings separate early, middle and later fork applications, while brake and clutch parts follow their own ranges. Matching the fitted fork is especially valuable if a previous owner has changed the front end.
Inspect the drum and shoe hardware together
The linked front and rear brake-shoe products both list 1971–1981, but their positions remain distinct. Clutch coverage differs again: the featured steel plate lists 1969–1980, while the other linked clutch plate lists 1969–1972. Select the plate type and stack position before ordering quantities.
Model and component referenceTS250 application differences
1970–1976 fork seals
The early set is listed as 34 × 46 × 10.5 mm.
1977–1979 fork seals
Use the separate middle-year set and compare its complete height and profile with the original.
1980–1981 fork seals
A third set covers the later group. A shared outside diameter does not establish the same seal.
Clutch and brakes
Steel plate: 1969–1980. Linked front and rear shoes: 1971–1981.
