About the Honda Gold Wing
Find your Gold Wing generation, then choose parts by GL model, year and trim.
Honda introduced the GL1000 Gold Wing for 1975. The GL1100 and GL1200 continued the flat-four line, followed by the six-cylinder GL1500 in 1988 and GL1800 in 2001. Those generation names help organize a repair, but trim, model year and later redesigns still determine the individual parts.
Choose the GL generation before the repair part
An early GL1000 carburetor seal does not describe a GL1800 fuel system, and a GL1100 application does not extend automatically to GL1200. Within the GL1200 family, identify the fuel-injected Limited or SE-i before selecting fuel-system parts. Use the model collections to narrow this broad family page.

GL1000 and GL1100
Start with the GL1000 collection or GL1100 collection, then check LTD, Interstate or Aspencade entries where listed. Shared engine service parts still carry separate applications.
GL1200 variants
Use GL1200 parts and identify the standard, Interstate, Aspencade, Limited or SE-i version. The fuel system is an essential distinction for carburetor-related work.
GL1500 touring and Valkyrie
The GL1500 collection includes Gold Wing and Valkyrie entries. Confirm the full suffix; six cylinders and the same nominal displacement do not establish universal interchange.
GL1800 generations
The GL1800 collection spans more than one design era. Record year and equipment, including the fitted brake and transmission configuration, rather than ordering by GL1800 alone.
Identify before orderingHonda Gold Wing identification checklist
- Read the full model code and year from the motorcycle’s identification.
